Directed for stage by Caroline Clegg with Music Direction by Riccardo Bianchi.

Teatru Manoel Opera Week commences with a Gala evening of uplifting, energetic and sentimental music from the Operetta repertoire. A rip-roaring jaunt through from Paris to Vienna and back with music by Lehar, Strauss, Offenbach among others.

Anglo-Americana Night
Musical exchanges between Atlantic shores with opera scenes in the English Language. Featuring work by Purcell, Handel, Britten & Stravinsky and contemporary opera company standard repertoire such as Gershwin, Sondheim and Weill.

Notte Italia!
Teatru Manoel Opera Week concludes with an evening dedicated to Italian Opera. Audience favourites by Italy’s finest composers including music by Bellini, Cilea, Donizetti, Mascagni, Puccini, Rossini and Verdi will provide a dramatic flourish.
