       Shakespeare Intensive

Dates: 26 – 30 September / 5 day workshop (10am – 1pm / 2pm – 5pm)

Immerse yourself in five days of Shakespeare culminating in an evening of performance at the Teatru Manoel led by Royal Shakespeare Company actress and practitioner, Lizzie Hopley. Each day will introduce you to a toolbox of acting, verse-speaking and movement techniques from the RSC rehearsal room and beyond, equipping you to develop your own speech or short scene for a shared performance at the end of the week.

All levels of experience and ability are welcome. As an active and inclusive introduction to Shakespeare or a way to deepen and challenge your own performance skills, this course will concentrate on bringing his language, characters and imagery to life by making them yours.
