MPO Principal Cello Ákos Kertész teams up with Hungarian pianist Judit Kertész for an intimate cello and piano recital at the Manoel Theatre.

The brother-sister duo masterfully brings together the intensity and poetic musicality of these two instruments, taking the audience on an exquisite musical journey from the French impressionist colours of Debussy’s Cello Sonata and Fauré’s poignant Élégie, to the German Romantic lyricism of Schumann’s Fantasiestücke and the Twentieth Century Hungarian spirit of Kodály’s elegant Adagio
