FESTA ITALIANA --- CELEBRATION OF CLASSICAL ITALIAN AND NEAPOLITAN SONGS, MUSICALS AND OPERETTA SELECTIONS


Popular Operetta artists from Laboratorio Lirico Europeo of Milan will perform in the FESTA ITALIANA Concert on Saturday 1st December 2012 at 7.30pm at the Manoel Theatre,Valletta. By general request soprano/soubrette Tiziana Scaciga della Silva; operetta comedian Walter Rubboli; tenor Andrea Bragiotto and soprano Barbara Fasol, accompanied by pianist/musical director Mro Debora Mori, will perform famous songs like "Solo per te Lucia"; "Violino Tzigano"; "Ciribiribin"; "Torna"; "Malafemmina"; "Roma non fa la stupida stasera" from musical "Rugantino"; "Fiorin fiorello"; "Ti voglio tanto bene"; "Gastone"; "Barbera e Champagne" "E spingole francese" and "Funiculi' Funicula' "; and operetta selections "Salome' " and "Veder Napoli e poi morir" from "Scugnizza"; "Tangolita" from "Ballo al Savoy"; "Stornellata di Cecco" from "Acqua Cheta"; "Oh Cin ci la' "
and "Canzone della Margherita" from "Cin ci La'"; "Sigismondo" and "Mi pare un sogno" from "Al Cavallino Bianco"; "E' scabroso le donne studiar" and "Vilja" from The Merry Widow;"Hurra', Hurra' " from "La Principessa della Czarda" and the evergreen "Luna tu" from "Il paese dei campanelli".
